That's why Progressive Future was started and that’s why they’re hitting the streets, getting on-line and on the phone, going door to door and organizing volunteers to make sure that decision-makers hear from progressive Americans who want to bring our troops home, ensure health care for all, invest in a stronger education system and take serious steps to stop global warming.
Progressive Future is working this fall to make sure that a progressive voice is heard in 2008. They’re running canvassing operations to identify people who care about these issues in neighborhoods across the nation, and hiring field organizers to mobilize those people to speak out on the issues -- and keep them on the front page -- for the duration of the election season and beyond. They’ll run a massive independent neighbor-to-neighbor campaign that taps into the energy of activists across the country. They’re hiring hundreds of professional staff to mobilize and organize volunteers who will use a combination of cutting-edge technology and old-fashioned shoe leather to get the word out to 1.8 million progressive Americans that it’s time to speak out.
